Book journals

The perfect way to track your reading is by logging it in a reading journal. There are many different typed and forms, I selected a few to narrow it down a bit.

16. Hannah Azerang, the face of the successful Youtube channel A Clockwork Reader, and one of the online bookish community's biggest personalities, has curated this journal just for you.

Track your reading of up to 100 books as she guides you along with questions about your reading, offers up some of her favorite books for you to enjoy, and even fills in some of the pages herself. Look further and you'll see she's even taken her pens and pencils and filled these pages with some of her favorite doodles and designs!

17. This Reading Journal has one hundred attractive and spacious record pages. As well as the main review space, there's space to log: title, author, publishing details & page count, start & finish dates, book format, source & genre/subject and much more.

Annotation

Some people love to annotate the books they read (and often re-read). They keep track of quotes, references or just parts that resonate with them. Is your bookish friend one of those people? Then consider arranging a nice annotation set. Here are some options to include.

18. Zebra Mildliners are well known for their nice colour range and good quality. They have two tips: a fine and a broad one. The colours are 'softer' then regular highlighters, which is a plus as far as aesthetics concern.

19. This set of 10 Stabilo Coloured Fineliners (0,4) is essential for anyone who annotates (or just likes to write a lot).

20. These Study Sticky Notes are themed, which makes it even easier to devide annotations in different sections. They come in a little hardcover book. Perfect for dark accademia lovers.

21. This set has it all: 386 Sticky Notes in 6 sizes and 7 colours.

22. Last but not least, is this expandable pencil case. It's the perfect way to keep all the annotation essentials at hand. Available in three colours.

Still not found what you are looking for? You can of course always decide to give a book, just as they asked. On this website, you can find books from all over the world, which is a great way to expand your horizon without having to leave your comfy chair.
